My final project will use sketchup. This is a software program that allows students to create 3d models on the computer. I will assign students to create a model of the living quarters of one of the following: an indentured servant living in Jamestown, a wealthy gentleman in Jamestown, an Native American shelter, and a family living in the Massachusetts Bay colony. After creating the models the students will be placed in groups with each different model being represented and will present their work to each other.
